First release under the consolidated release model: the public repository, website, and documentation now update at minor and major releases only, and each release summarizes every change since the previous public version.

- Recipe library. An OSS recipe collection ships under
recipes/with its runtime support, giving common optimization setups ready-made starting points. - Public optimization contracts. The
tokenpak.core.contractssurface grows a full set of optimization, cache, compression, fidelity, and Pak data contracts, with the TIP surface aligned to them. - Vector-database companion package (
packages/tokenpak-vectordb) plus telemetry and SDK surface extensions. - Pak wire markers. Compression output and the tool surface are branded with
[PAK …]wire markers (legacy markers remain readable), and the token estimator is disclosed in companion output. pak createemits the canonical Pak schema, andpak migrateupgrades legacy payloads to it.- Vault-injection master switch, default OFF: enabling context injection is
an explicit decision (
TOKENPAK_VAULT_INJECTION), never a surprise.

- The quickstart takes a protocol-first shape, and configuration surfaces align with the shipped documentation state.
Removed
tokenpak.proxy.server_asyncleaves the declared public surface: the async server was experimental and the package no longer implies it is ready. The supported server path is unchanged.
