Release

TokenPak v1.20.0

v1.20.0 · Aug 18, 2026

This backward-compatible minor release adds a deterministic session trip computer to the default read surfaces, layers a calibrated remaining-consumption forecast on top of it, and refreshes the model pricing catalog for the current Claude model generation.

Added

  • A deterministic session trip computer renders on every default read surface: a one-line and full-block status rendering, a dashboard section and snapshot field, and a read-only tool shared by both supported agent clients. All surfaces are thin adapters over one validated contract and one shared renderer, and the proxy selects a default session automatically when none is supplied. A restart-proof regression suite verifies the new surfaces change no provider bytes and no accounting inputs across a full process restart.
  • A calibrated remaining-consumption forecast layers onto the trip computer: a dependency-free split-conformal quantile engine over finished local sessions produces a central 50% remaining-token range, a one-sided 90% ceiling, an expected-turn range, measured walk-forward coverage with drift awareness, and a guard-aligned block probability. Cold cells render an honest learning state instead of a number; stale or unknown rates leave USD unavailable while token ranges stay intact.

Fixed

  • The model pricing catalog now prices the current Claude model generation — Fable 5, Opus 5, and Sonnet 5 — with matching context windows, and corrects a Haiku pricing row that had been seeded as a byte-identical copy of an older model's rates. A new catalog-integrity test suite makes this class of staleness CI-detectable going forward without hardcoding a model-name enumeration: every model the proxy serves by default must resolve to explicit priced data with a known context window, and every served model must carry positive pricing.

Upgrade

python -m pip install --upgrade "tokenpak==1.20.0"

No configuration migration is required.

Rollback

python -m pip install --upgrade "tokenpak==1.19.3"

The release introduces no destructive state migration. Artifact-level upgrade and rollback verification is part of the release gate.

Compatibility

  • The public API snapshot contains 4,679 symbols: 14 additive session trip-computer exports (a new tokenpak.proxy.session_forecast_calibration module plus three additions on existing modules) and zero removals relative to v1.19.3.
  • No existing public symbol is removed or reclassified. No breaking changes are introduced.
